ACRYLIC WIFI
is a tool to detect and enable testing of wireless networks. A free version is available and can be downloaded. The professional version is reasonably priced.
Paessler- Similar to Wireshark its a new network sniffer I found it a bit easier to use than Wireshark you can try it out and see for yourself
Wireshark- Another networking free open-source tool great for checking networks and analyzing them as well.
